In support of this year's topic, the HRLC Executive Board will be bestowing awards at the annual meeting:
HRLC Leadership Award - In recognition of an individual who demonstrated outstanding library leadership in 2007 - 2008. Only those employed by HRLC member organizations are eligible.
HRLC Trustee Award - In recognition of an individual library board trustee who demonstrated outstanding achievement in the areas of library advocacy; demonstrating the value of libraries, creating visibility for the library or by fostering community support of their library in 2007 - 2008.
HRLC Library Champion - In recognition of outstanding contributions made to an HRLC library or to the HRLC library community in 2007 - 2008. This can be awarded to an individual, group, organization or business. Employees, Friends groups or Trustees of HRLC libraries or library agencies are not eligible for this award.
