PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

 

NoodleBib is a fully-integrated note-taking and documentation program which is anchored in the best practices of academic research and inquiry learning. Known as the most comprehensive and accurate MLA- and APA-style bibliography composer on the Web, NoodleBib now includes a note-taking component which enables students to extract, organize and synthesize information that they find during the research process. NoodleBib is a flexible teaching tool which supports both individual learning preferences and a variety of teaching styles.

  		• Extensive help for each citation element at the point of need, a growing knowledge base of examples and fast, personal responses to individual student/teacher citation questions.

    On-site training is not available for NJ Regional Library Cooperative Member schools. If necessary, a conference call can be arranged with the librarians and teachers at a school. With the extensive help available online, and with phone and e-mail support available to the school librarians and staff throughout the year at no additional cost, this is generally not necessary.

    NJ Regional Library Cooperative Member schools receive a 20% discount off of standard academic pricing. Standard academic pricing is available on the Web at:

    Most single-campus license subscribers will fit into one of the following ranges:

    For full-district licenses (all middle and high schools in the district participating), the 20% discount is applied on top of the variable full-district license discount of 10-40% described on the Web site:

    Example calculations:

    1. One high school with enrollment of 4,500.

         Cost = $420.00 * 0.80 = $336.00/yr

         Note: 0.80 is the 20% INFOLINK member discount.

    2. One elementary school with enrollment of 200.

         Cost = $120.00 * 0.80 = $96.00/yr

         Note: 0.80 is the 20% INFOLINK member discount.

    3. District with 5 high schools (each with enrollment of 2,000), 5 middle schools (each with enrollment of 800), and 12 elementary schools.

         Cost = (($360.00 *5) + ($240.00 * 5)) * 0.70 * 0.80 = $1,680.00/yr

         Note: 0.70 is the 30% district-wide license discount (for a district with 8-15 middle and high schools). 0.80 is the 20% INFOLINK member discount. Elementary schools are included free with the district-wide license.
    ORDER/RENEW


    Access is available via username/password, IP (including access via proxy server), referring URL, or library barcode number. All subscriptions include remote access.
